"We hope to bring them by the end of the week. I decided that we buy armor plates in Bronestal, Finland. These are Finnish armor of the highest quality. And in Ukraine, we will make load-bearing vests and plate carriers. The total number that we plan to produce and deliver to Ukraine today exceeds 5,000, "said the fifth President.
Poroshenko said that the bulletproof vests would be delivered to those territorial defense battalions of Kyiv and Kyiv region that he patronizes - in particular, the 206th battalion of the capital, as well as battalions formed in Vasylkiv, Fastiv, and other districts of Kyiv region.
He noted that at the request of Boryspil City Mayor Volodymyr Borysenko, this list would include the city's territorial defense unit, which was the first to hold the attack of the Russian occupiers.
"First of all, we will give 5,000 to the battalions that are part of our coordination, our cooperation. Today, Volodymyr Borysenko has asked that Boryspil's territorial forces remain in close coordination. We are currently working in both Fastiv and Vasylkiv districts, "Poroshenko reminded.

Boryspil City Mayor Volodymyr Borysenko thanked the territorial defense worriers for their help. He addressed the journalists from the international media to show Russia's crimes against Ukraine. Volodymyr Borysenko also appealed to world leaders to shut the airspace over Ukraine.

"We urgently need to increase the supply of anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons. These are ATGM and MANPADS. People with huge experience, who are veterans and war participants, who know how to use anti-tank weapons. As for those that we received, some were used during the first thirteen days of the war. It is necessary that, in each unit, there were anti-tank weapons, that there were MANPADS in each unit. They are needed so that we could use that potential to increase the price Putin will pay if he does not stop and withdraw his troops, "Petro Poroshenko explains.
The Fifth President also addressed the soldiers of the enemy army to surrender. "Surrender, raise the white flag, and you will not need to return to Russia until Putin is overthrown. In this way, you will save your life and have at least some future," Petro Poroshenko sums up.
