On March 9, Russian military aviation struck residential buildings in Lebedyn, Sumy Oblast (region). Residential buildings in Shevchenko street were damaged.

At 01:42 am a guard of the 5th State Fire and Rescue Unit was called to the scene to carry out emergency rescue operations. Thanks to the prompt actions of rescuers and the local population, 5 people, including 2 children, were rescued from the rubble. Also, as a result of the air strike, 2 residential buildings were destroyed, " – SES statement.
Earlier, Russia is firing missiles at the Sumy region. Yesterday, 9 people, including children, were killed.
