Petro Poroshenko called the decision of the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague an important and convincing victory for Ukraine.

"Today's decision of the International Court of Justice in favor of Ukraine strengthens our position in the war with Russia. The Russian aggressor is obliged to stop hostilities, stop shell bombing and prepare for the inevitable punishment for all his criminal actions," Poroshenko wrote.

The fifth president stressed that Russia would not be able to cover up its attack on Ukraine by a fictional genocide. "Russia's disregard for the Court's decision is a path to infernal international sanctions and expulsion from the UN. They will have to be punished for all crimes, taken and maimed lives, damaged and destroyed infrastructure of Ukraine," Poroshenko stressed.

"The dock in The Hague is already waiting for international criminals! We will also hunt for Putin's Russia and punish it on all international platforms," Petro Poroshenko summed up.
