The military shot down several Russian fighter aircrafts, a bomber and some helicopters.
During the day on 16 March, Ukraine's air defense destroyed at least 10 air targets of the Russian occupiers.
This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Three Russian Su-30 fighter aircrafts, one Su-34 fighter-bomber, one unidentified aircraft, two helicopters and one operational-tactical UAV were destroyed," the Air Force of the UAF said.
In the northern direction, the air defense eliminated the Su-34 fighter-bomber, and in the southern - the Ka-52 helicopter.
UAF destroyed enemy helicopters in the occupied airport of the Kherson region.
On the night of 16 March, the Ukrainian air defense destroyed a Russian Su plane that was firing missiles at Chernihiv.
