In his speech to journalists about the situation in Ukraine, US President Joe Biden said that the United States increased the amount of defense assistance to Kyiv.

According to his words, they are talking about an additional $800m of safety assistance to Ukraine.

"This increases the cost of new safety assistance for Ukraine up to 1bn dollars is less than one week. There will be direct supplies of equipment from our Ministry of Defense. This package of assistance includes 800 anti-aircraft systems so that Ukrainians could keep stopping aircraft and helicopters that attack them and protect their airspace," President Biden said.
