The UK will provide Ukraine with the fastest surface-to-air missiles Starstreak, the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reports.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation, Starstreak is the British short-range man-portable air-defense system. It is designed to hit enemy helicopters and aircraft within short range.
Starstreak is considered the fastest in the world short-range surface-to-air missile.
Starstreak missiles can hit air targets at a distance of up to 7 kilometers.
The probability of a successful hit of the target by Starstreak Mark II is about 90%.
