Sweden will be blocking all ships with connections to Russia, report RBK-Ukraine citing the Swedish public channel Sveriges Television (SVT).
The blockade will concern all vessels that belong to Russia and those transporting Russian goods. The passage to and from Russia will be blocked as well.
"We are doing all we can to support our colleagues in Ukrainian ports and the country's civilian population. This is what we can do in our conditions," said the vice-president of the Swedish port workers union Erik Helgeson.
The company Leroy Merlin, specializing in home hardware and garden ware retail, blocked corporate accounts of its Ukrainian employees.
