A volunteer and student of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Elia Shchemur, was killed during the bombing of the Kharkiv center on 1 March 2022. KharkivPride reported this information.
"Today, we received confirmation of the death of our volunteer Elia Shchemur. It happened during the bombing of the center of Kharkiv, where Elia volunteered at the defense headquarters of Kharkiv region," the organization reported.
Friends and relatives were looking for a girl for a long time after the bombing. She was 21 when she died.
According to confirmed data, since the beginning of the war in Kharkiv alone, the occupiers have killed more than 500 civilians.
