Russian military launched an artillery strike at the Sviatoshynskyy district of the Ukrainian capital. As of now, there is information about one person who has been killed.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, around 4.30 p.m. on March 17, there were several calls to the Emergency Service 101 about the fire at the Sviatoshynskyy district in Kyiv.

As a result of the shellings, two cars caught fire. At 5.04 p.m., the fire was put out.

“Unfortunately, one person died,” - the first responders said.

A 5,000-square-meter grass field also caught fire nearby. The extinction of the fire continues.

“One more call was about the warehouses that were hit by the missile, which caused the fire at the area of 3000 square meters. There is a risk of missiles exploding, so the fire is being put out from a safe distance. The extinction continues,” says the operational briefing from the State Emergency Service.

According to the preliminary information, one person died because of the fire.
