Ukrainians are being received notifications about the accruement of funds, the text of the sms contains a malicious link. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council.

Ukrainians receive messages on the phone with the text "Vam narahovano Groshovadopomoga PB24 6500. Zarahuvatu…" and then there is a link. Never follow this link! There is a high risk that your phone will be hacked, " - the CCD informed.

The CCD noted that if a person ordered a one-time cash assistance service in the amount of UAH 6,500 through the "Diia" application, a person should expect a notification about the accruement of funds in the bank's application but not through third-party services.

"Don't follow any uncertain links without checking them. It is always better to reach a customer service representative of the institution from which you’ve received the message and check the authenticity of the notification being received," – was informed by the Center for Countering Disinformation.

Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine detained the Russian informants and exposed scammers who had stolen funds from volunteer accounts.

The cyber police identify people who are involved in sending sms-messages concerning ATM failures.
