Curfew announced in Zaporizhzhia until morning of March 21

In Zaporizhzhia, the intensified curfew has been imposed since the evening of March 19. It will last from 4 p.m. on March 19 until 6 a.m. on March 21, the head of the Zaporizhzhia state military administration, Oleksiy Staruh, announced on his Facebook. 

“According to the decision of the military leadership, the curfew is set up in Zaporizhzhia from 4 p.m. on March 19 until 6 a.m. on March 21, 2022. We ask you to treat it with understanding,” he stated. 

On March 18, five buses with evacuated residents of Mariupol left Berdiansk to get to Zaporizhzhia. 

Also, on March 18 Russian military shelled a military object near Zaporizhzhia. 

And on March 16, for the first time since the beginning of the war, Russian forces shelled civil infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia.
