The Israeli Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs head the hospital establishment.

The construction of Star Meir Hospital has already started in Ukraine.

The Israeli Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are in charge of establishing the hospital, according to the Facebook page of the Israeli Embassy in Ukraine. The Schusterman Foundation supports the construction, overseeing national and social projects in Israel and the JDC.

"At the weekend, cargo planes landed, and trucks transported equipment to the Medyka border crossing, then to the city of Mostyska, where we will build the hospital. The local reorganization has already begun, and the hospital is scheduled to open on Tuesday," the statement said.

Israel announced the construction of a field hospital in the Lviv region on 6 March. The hospital will include children and adults' departments, a reception department, a maternity hospital and an emergency department. They will also use advanced telemedicine technologies.
