On 20 March 2022, in daylight, four russian naval forces ships have shelled Mariupol.
It was reported by the press service of the “Azov” regiment.
“Just now, the city of Mariupol was shelled by four ships of the russian naval fleet. The enemy continues to cynically ruin the Ukrainian city, using the whole available arsenal. After the air force, artillery, and tanks, russian occupants are destroying the city with heavy weaponry of the battleships,” the message says.
As a reminder, the residents of the Azovstalska and Ukrainskoho-Kozatstva streets of the Livoberezhnyy district in Mariupol are being unlawfully deported to the territory of russia.
On 19 March 2022 russia struck the city once more, targetting the place where the civil residents of Mariupol were hiding from bombs. The enemy bombed the art school Nr. 12 in Livoberezhnyy district.
Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk RMA, reports that the citizens of Mariupol who have fled from the shelling by russian occupants to Mangush and Melekinoho, are dying from hunger.
