Soldiers of the Vinnytsia Scythians Motorized Infantry Battalion destroyed a convoy of Russian occupiers consisting of two Tigr armored combat vehicles and one KAMAZ truck. ‘Armia Inform’ reported this.

“Those ‘lost’ [Russian convoy], while moving to Kamianka village (Zaporizhzhia region), were immediately attacked, and stopped within a few minutes. One Tigr was seized as a trophy. It will serve the Ukrainians now. Vinnytsia Scythians already painted the vehicle in the colors of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the message states.

A military man with the pseudonym ‘Patrick’ said that they first defeated the enemy Tigr, which led the convoy. It was hit by an anti-tank guided missile. KamAZ was shot with small arms.

"We towed it, hoping to restore it for our own needs, but unfortunately the vehicle is not repairable in the field. But another Tigr will still serve us!" ‘Patrick’ said.

The military also showed their combat trophy. Tigr was hit with a rocket-propelled grenade RPG-7. The cumulative charge burned the back door of the enemy vehicle, leaving an inconspicuous hole, destroying the driver and the landing troops. The vehicle itself remained intact.

One Russian soldier survived the fight.

“When my guys pulled him out, injured, from the damaged vehicle and dragged him to a safe place to give the first pre-medical aid, he suddenly regained consciousness and said, "At least don't take the cross off"… Imagine! He really considers us to be atheists and Nazis. Putin’s propaganda has brainwashed their soldiers completely," said the platoon commander with the pseudonym Oscar.

Earlier, the police of Mykolaiv acquired a Russian Tigr as a trophy. The police officers repainted the armored vehicle and said they would use it to patrol the city.
