Humanitarian convoy to Vovchansk (Kharkiv region) drivers, who were captured by the invaders on March 20, have returned on foot. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Kharkiv OVA Roman Semenukha.

"Today is a happy morning for me and my brothers. The leaders of the humanitarian convoy detained by the occupiers in Vovchansk yesterday, our brothers have returned. They are alive and motivated to fight for Ukraine," Semenukha said, adding that he would tell the details later.

According to Ukrayinska Pravda, the drivers reached the first Ukrainian checkpoint on foot.

On March 20, communication with the humanitarian column going to the city of Vovchansk was lost. The convoy consisted of ambulances, buses for possible evacuation and two trucks of 20 tons with humanitarian cargo. According to GPS, invader forces took control of the convoy, said the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov.
