At 82.5 thousand square km of the territory of Ukraine, there are explosive objects. All these territories are further subject to demining. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the Association of Sappers of Ukraine.
The calculations were performed using geoinformation software together with the mine action operator Demining Solutions. The area of Ukraine is 603.7 thousand square km. And about 14% of them as of 21 March are subject to demining.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has published advice for Ukrainians on how to act if they found explosive devices.
