In the Nizhny Novgorod region of the russian federation on the territory of the oil depot owned by "Lukoil", a large-scale fire broke out on the morning of 22 March.

According to Russian media reports, the fire has so far been contained in an area of 500 square meters.

It is noted that the fire broke out in the city of Kstovo, where seven tanks caught fire on the territory of the oil depot.

Authorities say there is no threat to nearby houses and buildings.

According to TASS, the fire broke out at about 10:00 Moscow time (09:00 Kyiv time). An hour later, the fire was extinguished. Three fuel trucks burned down, four more cars were damaged.

Three of the world's four largest oil service companies have announced the closure of work in russia. The companies' clients were practically all oil companies of the russian federation.
