Cabinet of Ministers Simplified Humanitarian Aid Import: Since 23 March Only Declaration at Customs is Required, - Vereshchuk

The Government of Ukraine has simplified the procedure for importing humanitarian aid from abroad.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk.

"From tomorrow, all we need is a declaration at customs. No more bureaucratic delays or preventions, only declarations at customs. You have to write what is being delivered, and that you are going to help people," Vereshchuk said.

Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, in his video address on 18 March, said that the government had adopted a resolution aimed at simplifying all customs procedures as much as possible.

The Cabinet of Ministers has already simplified the requirements for marking imported food products for faster importation during martial law. It is a matter of decreasing a number of requirements for market operators who import products to Ukraine.

The government has also expanded the list of critical imports that are important to Ukrainian farmers.
