The Minister told how the evacuation of people and the delivery of humanitarian aid took place.

Minister of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk spoke about the results of work of the humanitarian corridors on 23 March. She stressed that seven out of nine corridors worked today.

A total of 4,554 people were evacuated today.

Donetsk region. From the city of Mariupol to Zaporozhye 2,912 Mariupol residents got by their own transport today.

Buses and trucks with humanitarian aid, which arrived in Berdyansk yesterday, were blocked all day by the occupying forces at the entrance to the city.

Also, at the checkpoint in the city of Vasylivka, the occupiers have been keeping an additional convoy of buses to evacuate Mariupol residents and a fuel truck all day. The convoy will stay overnight in Tokmak and continue to go to Berdyansk tomorrow morning.

According to Vereshchuk, rescuers from the State Emergency Service and bus drivers, who were unjustifiably detained in Mangush yesterday, are to be released tomorrow, 24 March.

Zaporizhzhia region. Today, a convoy of buses to evacuate people from the town of Polohy to Zaporizhia was kept by the invaders at a checkpoint in the town of Vasylivka. They have already been allowed to go and they will continue to follow the route tomorrow morning from the city of Tokmak.

51 people were evacuated from the city of Huliaipole to Zaporizhia and humanitarian aid was delivered.

Kyiv region. 769 people were evacuated from the villages of Velyka Dymerka and Bohdanivka to Brovary. Again, it was impossible to evacuate people from the town of Borodyanka to Bila Tserkva today due to shell bombing by the Russian occupiers.

150 people were evacuated from the village of Svetilnya to Brovary.

Luhansk region. 672 people were evacuated from the cities of Rubizhne, Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Kremina and the village of Nizhne to the city of Bakhmut today. Humanitarian corridors also delivered 60 tons of humanitarian aid (canned food, cereals and flour) to these cities.

Earlier, Vereshchuk stressed that the Russian military almost completely destroyed Mariupol. All civilians must be evacuated.
