After the public statements of the Russians about the reduction of offensive actions and activity in the Chernihiv and Kyiv directions, the shell bombing intensified. In particular, the enemy launched air strikes on Nizhyn.

Civil infrastructure, including libraries, shopping malls and other facilities, has been destroyed again, as well as many houses," the head of the RMA said in a morning video message.

According to the mayor, the situation in the city is currently under control. Kodola reminded that the curfew time in Nizhyn runs from 8p.m. on 29 March to 5a.m. on 31 March.
Utilities operate on a full-time basis. At the same time, the power grid outside Nizhyn was damaged, leaving two streets without electricity.
"The city hospital is working in an intensive mode. One girl and one boy were born in the maternity hospital," the mayor wrote.
