Russian troops abducted at least 11 mayors and eight municipal officials in Ukraine during the full-scale invasion.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Nikolenko announced on Twitter.
Since Russia invaded Ukraine, its army has abducted at least 11 city mayors and 8 municipal officials. Abducting civilians is a gross violation of international law. The list of crimes perpetrated by Russia and its officials keeps expanding. They all will be brought to justice.

"The abduction of civilians is a gross violation of international law. The list of crimes committed by russia and its officials continues to expand. All of them will be prosecuted," he said.
The mayor of Melitopol, whom Russians kidnaped at the beginning of March, managed to be exchanged. In the Kherson region, in addition to civilians, the mayor of Hola Prystan was abducted.
