The General Staff of Ukraine published operational information as of 6 a.m. on April 1:
There is a continuation of the partial withdrawal of units of the Russian occupation forces from the north of Kyiv region towards the state border with the Republic of Belarus. There is the movement of mixed columns of equipment of different quantities.
There are also civilian vehicles in the columns (trucks, buses, minibuses, cars), which Russian occupiers stole during the temporary occupation of the territories. The enemy is also taking the stolen goods.
In the temporarily occupied territories, the enemy continues its illegal actions, restricting the movement of civilians, using the houses and apartments of local residents to accommodate personnel, holding local residents and activists hostage. Russians continue looting and conducting violence against Ukrainian citizens.
In some of the districts, which Russians occupied, they try to make the entrepreneurs switch to Russian ruble payments for goods and services.
The Joint Forces Operation repelled 7 enemy attacks in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Our military destroyed 3 tanks, 2 armored personnel carriers, and 2 artillery systems. They also shot down the Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle.
Ukraine's defense forces continue to successfully carry out their objectives, pursue the retreating enemy, break through the occupiers' defensive positions, and gradually liberate Ukrainian lands.
