370 thousand Ukrainians returned to Ukraine from Poland. This was reported by the "Mirror of the Week" with reference to Politico.
According to the Polish Border Guard Service, about 12,000 people returned to Ukraine on Monday, 28 March, and 13,000 on Tuesday. A total of 370,000 people have come back to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
Politico notes that the reasons for returning for Ukrainians are different. For example, some people have not been able to find housing outside special shelters at the border. Some have run out of money, and there are delays in Poland with social benefits for refugees.
Volunteers working at the border to help Ukrainian refugees also note that queues of Ukrainians wanting to return are beginning to form at Przemyśl train station. People go to Lviv, Kyiv, and Odesa.
In total, Poland so far has received about 2.3 million Ukrainians.
Internally displaced people can return to their homes only with the appropriate consent of the authorities, the SES of Ukraine, and the National Police of Ukraine. For example, several hundred unexploded ordnance and mines have been seized in Kyiv in recent weeks.
