The Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security of Defense Council has calculated how many weapons russia can buy for taxes of foreign companies still operating in this country.
CCD analyzed data on the pharmaceutical company Menarini Group and KRKA, which specializes in the production and sale of copies of original medicines.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation, Menarini Group employs more than 1,300 people in russia. The aggressor country has unpatented analogs of this company's drugs.
"In 2021, Menarini Group replenished the budget of the russian federation by $ 32 million. With this money, russia can buy 32 thousand shells for a 122-mm gun, or 450 BM-30 Smerch, or 5 cruise missiles "Kalibr", or 3 Su-25 assault aircraft, or any other weapon with which the enemy continues to kill Ukrainians", – has been stated in the message.
KRKA company employs more than 2,100 russians.
"In 2021, the KRKA paid $35 million to the russian budget. These are 35 thousand shells for a 122-mm gun, or 490 BM-30 Smerch, or 5 “Kalibr” cruise missiles, or 3 Su-25 attack aircraft, or 1 Su-34 fighter-bomber, with which the enemy destroys Ukrainians," the CСD said.
To remind, 42 major international companies continue to operate in russia.
