Ukrainian army liberates 11 towns, villages in Kherson Region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 11 towns and villages in the Kherson region from the Russian occupiers. Thanks to the Ukrainian military, local residents can receive humanitarian aid - food and medicine, the Operational Command South reports. 

“With the efforts of our defenders from the 60th separate infantry brigade, which is a part of the Operational Command South, the following towns and villages were liberated in the Kherson region: Novovorontsovka, Mala Shesternia, Novohryhorivka, Topolyne, Kniazivka, Krasnivka, Vilne, Kamianka, Pryhiria, Kochubeivka, Orlove,” the message says. 

While conducting the liberation operation, the unit of the 60th separate infantry brigade got themselves new trophy equipment. Now they have T-64 tanks (with full ammunition), IFV-2, BMD-2, Zu-2m anti-aircraft twin-barreled autocannon based on MT-LB. 

Yesterday evening the General Staff confirmed the liberation of Sloboda in the Chernihiv region and reported that Lukashivka village is now under Ukrainian control.
