The Russian occupiers left the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. This was reported by the State Agency of Ukraine for Exclusion Zone Management.

"Currently, there are no strangers at the Chernobyl site," the statement said.

However, the National Atomic Energy Generating Company Energoatom reports that fleeing the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the Russian occupiers took away the National Guard, who had been held captive since 24 February. Earlier, Chernobyl workers who were at the station also spoke about it.

Earlier, it became known that the Russians, who captured the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and other facilities in the Exclusion Zone on the first day of the war, marched in two columns towards the Ukrainian border from the Republic of Belarus.
