The Russian army destroyed about 15% of the residential buildings in Kharkiv. The Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced this on TV, Ukrinform reports.
"In 35 days, 1,531 facilities in Kharkiv were destroyed, including 1,292 residential buildings. The Russian army destroyed 76 schools, 54 kindergartens, 16 hospitals. Two hundred thirty-nine office buildings are in ruins," Terekhov said.
About a third of the population left the city, which is shelled by the enemy army every day. The fire in Kharkiv is conducted in particular from the territory of Russia. The border with it is about 30 km from Kharkiv.
Enemy troops destroyed the Regional State Administration building in Kharkiv and fired several times at the "Neutron Source" nuclear research installation.
