In the Luhansk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed several dozen units of russian equipment and the Kadyrovtsy headquarters with artillery strikes.
The head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Haidai announced this during a television marathon, Ukrinform reports.
"Last night, a huge concentration of equipment, several dozen units, and the Chechen headquarters were covered with artillery," Haidai said.
He added that the russian federation is sending additional troops to Donetsk and Luhansk. During the regrouping, the enemy fires at settlements, using aircraft, artillery, and mortars.
In the Telegram Haidai added that yesterday the russians fired on residential buildings in Lysychansk. One shell hit a house with small children. A 1.7-year-old girl died in hospital. Doctors are fighting for her brother's life. Parents are in satisfactory condition.
According to Haidai, at least 141 people died in Luhansk region. Thirty-eight of them were children.
