The death toll from the earlier shelling of Mykolayiv regional state administration on 29 March has risen to 24, the State Service for Emergencies reported.
“As of 07:00 am on 1 April, 24 people have been killed after the Russian rocket hit the building of Mykolayiv regional state administration and destroyed it,” the message stated.
Rescuers released 23 bodies from the rubble; one person died at the hospital.
Search work continues around the clock.
Yesterday it was reported that the chairman of the Belarusian society Tatyana Demennikova was one of those trapped under the rubble of Mykolayiv regional state administration. She worked in the Department of Economics of the regional administration.
