Ukraine has chosen the concept of "reinforced immunity," which implies that the armed forces can quickly form combat-ready units out of experienced reservists, said the head of the Ukrainian delegation at the Ukraine-Russia negotiations, MP Davyd Arakhamiya, during the national telethon. It was reported by RBK-Ukraine.
According to Arakhamia, the Israeli experts suggested adding to the agreement the so-called concept of "reinforced immunity," which means that the country can rapidly pull together a combat-ready force consisting of experienced reservists, like in Switzerland and Israel.
"Now we have favourable conditions. We have a lot of people in local defense and national resistance forces. The way we see it, there will be a regular army and about 1 million people who do field training once or twice a year. These people will have weapons. In case of attack, we will have an additional million trained soldiers. But the state will not spend money for their monthly upkeep," said Arakhamiya.
During Istanbul peace talks, Ukraine proposed that the UN Security Council members (Great Britain, China, Russia, USA, France, Turkey, Germany, Canada, Italy, Poland, and Israel) offer our country security guarantees similar to the NATO collective defense principles. Within the first three days of an attack on Ukraine, the guarantor countries will have to provide military assistance, weapons, and a no-fly zone.
