The Ministry of defense of Russia stated that on March 31 at 10:00 “silence regime” will be announced to evacuate citizens from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia. But Ukrainians have not received any confirmation yet.

This was told to “Ukrainian truth” by the Minister of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk.

“RBK” [russian news portal] wrote that Moscow claimed the guarantees from Kyiv to keep the “silence regime” at the appointed time and till 6:00 March 31. They wrote that Moscow demanded a written notification to be provided to them, representatives of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Iryna Vereshchuk said that Ukraine had sent an official letter to the International Committee of the Red Cross and expects their reply.

“Our busses are ready. As soon as the ceasefire regime is set, we will get to people immediately,” – said the Minister.

Mariupol is being surrounded by russian forces since March 1. There is no water, food, electricity, heat, gas supply or phone connectivity. 90% of buildings in the city are destroyed. Occupiers relocate residents to the territory of the Russian Federation by force. It is known about 20 thnd residents of Mariupol were moved by force (kidnapped).

Today 1530 people have reached to Zaporizhzhia by private cars. 812 people from them are from Mariupol.
