Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with his American counterpart Joe Biden. It was about sanctions against Russia and defense support.

He announced this on Twitter.

"I have just finished an hour-long conversation with Joe Biden. I shared the assessment of the situation on the battlefield and at the negotiating table. We were talking about specific defense support, a new package of reinforced sanctions, macro-financial and humanitarian aid," he said.

This was the fourth telephone conversation between the Presidents of Ukraine and the United States in March. The previous ones were on 1, 6 and 11 of March. During the last conversation, the presidents discussed the crimes of the occupiers against the civilian population and the reinforcement of sanctions pressure on Russia.

Biden also met with Ukraine's defense and foreign ministers in Poland. Dmytro Kuleba and Oleksiy Reznikov gave Biden the wreckage of a Russian missile that hit the Yavoriv test site in the Lviv region, where the International Center for Security and Peace is located. Kuleba said the parties "agreed on steps to reduce the number of such missiles."

A few hours later, Russia launched two new missile attacks on Lviv.
