The Head of Government stressed the importance of Norwegian companies withdrawing from Russia.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal had a telephone conversation with his Norwegian colleague Jonas Gahr Store on March 30.

They discussed the continuation of sanctioned pressure on the aggressor country. Denys Shmygal also touched upon the stay of foreign companies in Russia.

"We hope that Norwegian government will sound a strong message to Norwegian companies that remain in Russia about inadmissibility of filling the terrorist country’s budget... Russia must be cut off from sources of financing war against Ukraine," Shmygal wrote on Facebook.

The head of Cabinet also thanked the Norwegian government for supporting and joining EU sanctions against Russia. The Prime Ministers discussed plans for restoration of Ukraine and creation of appropriate funds.

Today, on March 30, Verkhovna Rada registered the Bill by which they want to oblige foreign companies that remained to work in Russia, to pay more taxes in Ukraine.

42 large international companies continue to operate in Russia.
