After the failures near Kyiv and the impossibility to take down the central power of Ukraine, the president of russia vladimir putin is changing the main war operational directions to east and south. It has been reported by the Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, according to the press service of CDI.
“There are reasons to believe that he (putin, - LB.ua) is considering the “Korean” scenario for Ukraine, Meaning, he will try to force a dividing line between the not occupied and occupied regions of our country. In practice, it is an attempt to create a Northern and Southern Koreas in Ukraine. Since he is definitely not able to swallow the whole country,” Budanov has noted.
He is sure that the issue of creating a dry land corridor continues to be relevant for russian fascist regime. But to fulfil this plan, there is one main problem, “the unbreakable Mariupol, which has tied up the significant forces of the enemy”.
“The occupants will try to shape the occupied territories into a single quasi-state formation, which they will oppose to the independent Ukraine. We already see the attempts to create “parallel” authorities in the occupied territories and to force people to give up on hryvnya. Maybe, they will want to bargain about this at international level as well. But the resistance and demonstrations by our citizens in the occupied areas, the counter-attacks by the UAF, and the consecutive freeing [of these territories, - tr.] significantly hinder the fulfilment of the enemy plans. Besides, soon the season of the total Ukrainian guerilla safari will start. Then the russians will have only one relevant scenario, how to survive.” Budanov has concluded.
Today, the leader of the so-called “LNR” Leonid Pasichnyk has proclaimed the plans to hold a “referendum” about the inclusion of this terrorist formation into the russian federation.
Earlier, the agencies Reuters and Bloomberg have reported that russia, possibly, has decided to concentrate its efforts to occupy the whole of Donbas, so that putin could proclaim victory for the inner audience.
