The enemy is conducting a partial withdrawal of some of the units of their military forces from the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
Russians intend to transport their faulty equipment to the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region by tractor units. The enemy has significant problems with the equipment taken out of storage. A lot of the inoperable equipment was discovered in the 163rd tank regiment of the 150th Rifle Division, the General Staff reports in their briefing.
“The enemy continues to suffer significant losses. According to available information, on March 28, a farewell ceremony for the fallen service members was held at the permanent location of the 83rd separate air assault brigade. There were approximately 200 dead soldiers," the General Staff added.
Belarus continues to facilitate Russia’s participation in the war against Ukraine and provides territories for the deployment of Russian military units, airfields and transport networks, as well as locations for cruise and ballistic missile launcher systems.
The General Staff noted that according to international law, the “country which provides its airspace, its territory to conduct attacks on the third country” could be considered an aggressor.
Belarus also allows wounded or injured Russian soldiers to get treatment on its territory. During the last 24 hours, many Russian service members with injuries of varying severity arrived in the Narovlya, Gomel Region.
Earlier, Russia claimed that they were withdrawing the troops from the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions because the occupiers “have completed the task.” General Staff reported that Russia was indeed removing some units from the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions but is regrouping them to concentrate the main efforts on the Slobozhanskyy and Donetsk directions.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the Russians are not withdrawing all of their forces from the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions. The USA believes that Russia’s claims on the alleged withdrawal of the forces from the capital of Ukraine are the redeployment and not withdrawal, as Kremlin announced.
