The Ukrainian army liberated two villages from Russian invaders in Chernihiv oblast on Wednesday, 31st of March.
It was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“In Chernihiv oblast, Operational Command “North” liberated two settlements - Sloboda and Lukashivka. Measures to clear the area of mines left by the Russians, as well as assistance to local residents are currently underway,” - stated by the General Staff.
It was previously reported that Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the village of Sloboda near Chernihiv, where the occupiers fired on a humanitarian corridor by journalist Andriy Tsaplienko. He was informed about that by the servicemen who passed the video from the video taken in Sloboda village.
The invaders were arranging shelling of the humanitarian corridor from that settlement. The village is about 20 kilometers north of the regional center.
