Russia relocates additional units of its armed forces to Ukraine to participate in the war.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the report on the Russian invasion as of 24.00 on 30.03.2022.
"According to available data, in the vast majority of permanent dislocation of military units and subdivisions of the Eastern Military District, most personnel are conscripts, which indicates the exhaustion of opportunities for the formation of additional units," the statement said.
There is also a threat of using missile weapons on the objects of our state's defense and industrial complex and logistics infrastructure. In the Black Sea area, there are Russian ships equipped with ship-launched cruise missiles "Kalibr." At the Sevastopol naval base, the occupiers have replenished the ammo for ship-launched cruise missiles "Kalibr" on the frigate Admiral Makarov.
The enemy is trying to create military-civilian administrations and has begun preparations for a referendum on a quasi-state entity in the Kherson region (the so-called "Kherson People's Republic") to control the temporarily occupied territories of the South of Ukraine.
Volyn direction. The units of airborne forces of the Russian Federation armed forces were seen in the areas of the municipalities Pinsk and Luninets of the Republic of Belarus; these units were probably withdrawn from the territory of Ukraine.
The planned regrouping of the Eastern Military District units continues in the Polissia direction. It is expected that these units will be moved to other areas.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy did not take active action. Instead, the occupiers have focused on sabotage and reconnaissance activities and continue to take measures to establish logistics. Soon, it is expected that Russians will intensify their attacks on Ukrainian units to ensure the movement of their troops, with the further objective to block Chernihiv.
In the Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy continues to block Kharkiv and conducts artillery shelling of the city. The Russians move artillery units in the area of the city of Izyum and create strike groups, particularly from the previously withdrawn troops.
In the Donetsk direction, the occupiers continue to focus on taking control of the municipalities of Popasna, Rubizhne, and taking over Mariupol.
The enemy tried to conduct assault operations in the areas of Popasna, Rubizhne, Novobakhmutivka, Mariinka, and Zolota Nyva. However, the enemy achieved no success.
In Mariupol, the occupiers continue conducting assault operations. We expect Russians to attempt an attack in the direction of Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk and concentrate efforts in the direction of Svitlodarsk.
In the Pivdennyi Buh direction, the enemy is taking measures to restore combat capability and replenish supplies. The units of the Defense Forces restored control over the municipalities of Orlove, Zahradivka, and Kochubieievka.
The enemy is trying to conduct attack operations in the direction of Oleksandrivka to restore the previously lost position.
