Pro-Kremlin media actively share fake news that the Ukrainian government use the synagogue in Uman as an assembling point for the military. Contradiction of the fake shared the Center Countering Disinformation on its Facebook page.

"Falsified photos are created to prove that the Ukrainian military near the synagogue disguise weapons under bags of construction garbage and use school buses marked "Children" for its transportation. The purpose of the information attack is to quarrel the Ukrainian government with Israel," - said in the massage.

The Center Countering Disinformation also does not exclude that this fake will be used to distract from the provocation of the Russian military - from the shelling of this object of the Jewish cult in Uman and the subsequent accusation of Ukraine.

"Such disinformation was “thrown" by Russia on the eve of the shelling of the maternity hospital and the Drama Theater in Mariupol. Provocations gave a reason for the official "loudspeaker" of the Kremlin, the speaker of the Russian Ministry of Defence, Konashenkov to accuse the Ukrainian military," - said the Center Countering Disinformation.

Uman was still under shelling only on the day of the February 24, at the beginning of the invasion. Then, as a result of the missile attack, one person was killed, five more were wounded.

Earlier, on March 9, the Russian military initially announced that the Azov regiment was in the hospital of Mariupol, and within a few hours they shelled the hospital, which led to the death of several people, including a child and a pregnant woman. Later, Russian Minister Lavrov confirmed that the shelling of the hospital was deliberate.
