President Zelenskyy stated that russian propagandists are preparing a new provocation occupying forces collecting the bodies of killed Ukrainians to use in propaganda scenarios. He said this in his video address.
"More information is coming that the russian propagandists are preparing a so-to-say "mirror response" to the shock of all normal people from what they saw in Bucha. They are going to show the victims of Mariupol as if they were killed not by the russian military but by the Ukrainian defenders of the city. The occupiers are collecting the corpses on the streets and taking them away so that they can use them elsewhere in the elaborate propaganda scenarios," said the President.
He emphasized that this is a separate war crime for which each of them will be held accountable.
"We are dealing with the invaders who have nothing human left in them. To justify their own murders, they use the killed people as scenery, as propaganda props. This is a separate war crime for which each propagandist will be held accountable," said the President.
Zelenskyy added that more and more countries of the world support the necessity of a complete and transparent investigation of all russian war crimes in Ukraine.
"Every murder will be solved. Every butcher will be found. Everyone who committed rapes or looting will be identified. The accountability is inevitable," stressed the President.
