Russia is preparing for a new wave of war against Ukraine, in which it wants to use much more military equipment than during the attack on 24 February.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with the American channel CBS.

"There will be one of the most difficult battles. There will be more than one battle. We think it will be a new wave of this war. We do not know how much equipment there will be. We understand that it is many times more than it is now. We notice the accumulation of military equipment near the east and south of our state. We understand almost all the corridors where the enemy will go. We understand what it is going to do. Whether we withstand this or not depends on the speed of how the United States will help us. First of all, how quickly they will give us weapons", Zelenskyy declared.

He added that he has 100% confidence in Ukrainians and the Armed Forces, but he is unsure that Ukraine will get everything we need.

Zelenskyy also shared his thoughts on what he would consider a victory. This is the cessation of bombing, the return of Ukrainians home, the return of our territories, and the withdrawal of the Russian military.

"I understand that they will not leave Crimea, that we will fight for a long time, fight, fight and bargain for certain territories in the Donbas. I understand all this. But so far, there is no victory in Kyiv. So far, it is too early," he stated.

The President added that he knew exactly what was going to happen, after which we could say that this was a victory.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that after leaving the territory of Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions, the Russians transferred these forces to the east and south of Ukraine. The enemy's goal is to establish complete control over Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
