Symptoms include facial hyperaemia, high blood pressure, dryness and heartburn in the oropharynx.

The victims of the spread of the poisonous substance by the russians in Mariupol are in satisfactory condition. The elderly woman suffered the most among civilians.

Exposure of civilians to the unknown substance was minimal, and the military was closer to the epicenter. The commander of the Azov Regiment Denys Prokopenko informed about this.

"However, it is currently impossible to fully investigate the scene due to enemy fire, as the russians continue to pursue tactics of concealing their crimes," he said.

Of the three injured servicemen, one is in moderate condition, the other two are under constant medical supervision. The main symptoms of the victims are facial hyperaemia, high blood pressure, dryness and heartburn in the oropharynx, and mucous membranes of the eyes.

"It is now known that the enemy used poisonous substances or potent poisonous substances, mostly suffocating. However, due to the complete blockade, their toxicological analysis is impossible. At the same time, the main task is to monitor personnel and possible consequences of poisoning," Azov added .

In the evening, the Azov regiment which together with marines defends Mariupol reported that at about half past nine the russian occupiers used a poisonous substance of an unknown origin against the Ukrainian military and civilians in the city.

According to the regiment's founder Andriy Biletskyy, three fighters were injured. The blow was struck at the Azovstal plant.
