Belgorod claims the damage to its railway tracks at the border with Ukraine

Russian Belgorod reported about the damage to railway tracks in Shebekinsky district. Relevant report was released by RBC with reference to the statement of the governor of Belgorod region, Viacheslav Gladkov, made in a Telegram channel.

“There was damage to railways in Shebekinsky district. No casualties reported. Only railway tracks were destroyed. Operational unit is working on the ground. I will further report about the reasons,” the governor wrote.

Previously Ukrainian intelligence informed that russians were preparing for a partisan war in their own territory.

As reported by the Chief Directorate of Intelligence (CDI), this heightened readiness is in particular related to the actions of Belarus “railway partisans” who damage railway connections with Ukraine to complicate the delivery of reinforcements to the areas of military action. In addition, the recent explosions at a fuel depot and military warehouses nearby Belgorod caused panic not only in Belgorod itself, but also in the adjacent russian regions. In the opinion of CDI, this is a start of the partisan war and transfer of the military action to the territory of the russian federation.
