On April 13, the Lichakivsky Court in Lviv arrested 154 more properties of the suspect in the treason, Viktor Medvedchuk and his wife Oksana Marchenko.

In particular, 26 cars, 30 plots of land, 23 houses, 32 apartments, 17 parking lots and a motor yacht have been seized. The press service of the SBI informed about it.

The seizure also includes shares in the statutory capitals of 25 companies, the beneficial owner of which is Victor Medvedchuk or his wife.

"Previously, SBI investigators and prosecutors of the Prosecutor General's Office have already seized Medvedchuk's yacht and other non-commodity property through the court," the office said.

Medvedchuk is suspected of state treason and complicity in the activities of a terrorist organization.

Medvedchuk had been under house arrest. On February 21, a few days before the Russian Federation launched a full-scale attack on Ukraine, the politician's belongings were removed from his house. His wife left for Belarus on February 19. On February 27, the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that Medvedchuk had gone in an unknown direction.

On March 18, the Lichakivsky District Court in Lviv arrested Medvedchuk, who had disappeared after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, in absentia. The OPZZH MP and Putin's friend is suspected of state treason and complicity in the activities of a terrorist organization.

On April 12, Medvedchuk was detained while trying to cross the border. Head of the SSB Ivan Bakanov said that the removal of Medvedchuk was handled by the Russian FSB with the help of Ukrainian corrupt law enforcers and criminal elements.

They wanted to take Medvedchuk to Dniester region and then take him to Moscow, but the SSU worked faster than the Russians were able to do it.
