The Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyy handed over a bloodied children's toy from the railway station in Kramatorsk to the UN Office in Ukraine. This happened during the meeting of the Ukrainian Minister with the UN Crisis Coordinator in Ukraine, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General Amin Awad, - the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed. 

Monastyrsky said that since the beginning of the war, the National Police has launched an investigation into more than 6,000 criminal cases on the commission of russian war crimes. During the russian aggression on the territory of Ukraine, more than 190 children were killed and about 350 children were injured. 

Monastyrskyy emphasized, that on the morning of April 8, russian troops fired a "Point-U" missile with the words "For children" at the Kramatorsk railway station, which housed about 4,000 civilians, mostly women, children, and the elderly. They were all waiting for the evacuation train.

"It was a direct, deliberate, planned attack on civilians. This crime of the russian federation took the lives of 59 peaceful Ukrainians, including 7 children. In addition, 114 people were injured to varying degrees. A bloodied soft toy was found among the bodies of the wounded and killed people", the Head of the MIA informed. 

The photo of this toy pony flew around many world media and became a symbol of the destroyed destinies of Ukrainian children. The bloodied toy will be delivered to the International Independent Commission of Inquiry into russian war crimes in Ukraine as another piece of evidence of war crimes against humanity committed by russian occupation forces in our country. Police removed it from the scene, kept her in the condition she was in after the tragedy, and took it to Kyiv. 

According to the Minister, the strike on Kramatorsk should be one of russia's accusations at the Hague tribunal.
