The Armed Forces have liberated 918 municipalities in Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during his address.
He noted that humanitarian aid centers were opened in 338 liberated municipalities.
"Normal life is being restored in those regions and districts from where the russian occupiers have been kicked out. The amount of work is enormous. We are demining the territories. We are restoring electricity, water, and gas supplies. We are resuming the work of police, post services, state, and local authorities," - he said.
Road and railway connections are also being restored.
"The employees of Ukravtodor and Ukrzaliznytsia work quite effectively, and I am grateful for this speed. Furthermore, I am grateful that they give people the feeling of normal life, which the russian occupiers tried to destroy forever," - said Zelensky.
Yesterday, for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale war, the freight train arrived in Chernihiv. Also, the Chernihiv-Kyiv railway route's functioning is being restored.
