On the morning of April 15, in Skadovsk, Kherson region, the occupiers removed Ukrainian flags from the city council building and the flagpole in the city center. Instead of blue and yellow Ukrainian flags, the russian military hung tricolors. The mayor Olexandr Yakovlev reported about it, Skadovsk.City informed.
"They have hung their tricolors. Thus, they say that they are fully responsible for everything that happens in the city and the community, since now" - said Yakovlev.
He assured that the Skadovsk City Council will not cooperate with the occupiers, "so from today no employee of the executive committee will work in the building under the enemy flag."
Earlier, russian military entered Skadovsk on 9 March. On 6 April, the mayor of Skadovsk said that he left the city due to constant threats from the occupiers.
