Kyiv mayor, Vitaliy Klychko, reported that during the night russian federation shelled Kyiv.
“Friends! Kyiv was shelled early in the morning. The explosions took place in the Darnytskyy district, on the city's outskirts. The rescue teams and medics are working on site right now. The information on casualties is being clarified,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Klychko addressed the residents and urged them not to ignore the air raid sirens.
“And those Kyiv residents, who left the city earlier and are now planning to return to the capital, I ask to refrain from it and stay in safer places,” the mayor added.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defence of russian federation again threatened to strike at “decision-making centers,” including Kyiv.
There are currently no russian troops in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions - partially, they were repelled, partially they withdrew. These units were transferred to the east of Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense believes that the question of the offensive on the capital depends on the warfare in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
