Parliament extends martial law until 25 May

The Parliament of Ukraine extended martial law until May 25.

Yaroslav Zhelezniak, a People's Deputy from the "Golos" faction, wrote about this in his TG.

Also, people's deputies at the plenary session of Parliament voted to exclude Viktor Medvedchuk from the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.

"Parliament met again today. Again in the center of the capital," he wrote.

In particular, the Parliament voted for the following legislative initiatives:

— 7300 - extension of martial law for a month, until May 25 (300 voices)

— 7278 - the law on exemption from taxation for remuneration for the transferred to our army suitable for use military trophy equipment of the enemy (302)

— 7299 - increase in the reserved fund of the Budget by 200bn through borrowings (296)

— 7270 - changes to the regulation of the legal regime in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine in connection with the full-scale war (300)

— 7275 - simplification of obtaining the status of the unemployed and the appointment of unemployment benefits during the war (296)

— 7269 - simplification of the procedure for making personnel decisions on positions in local governments, positions of the public sector during martial law (230)

— 7282 - simplification of construction of buildings intended for the livelihood of persons who lost their homes as a result of the war (268)

— 7249 - the law, which proposes to pay rent only for gas sold (not extracted), and pay the rest within 3 months after the end of martial law (287)

— 7255 - the law, which improves the existing mechanisms for the protection of civilians and territories during the war (292)

— 5847 - delimitation of powers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies in the field of civil protection

— 7227 - improving the efficiency of the organization of suppliers of electronic communications networks in martial law (245)

— 7264 - simplification of phytosanitary measures for agricultural products and agrochemicals (293)

— 7289 - features of regulation of land relations in martial law (233)

— 3688 - to supplement the list of objects transferred free of charge from state to communal ownership with integral property complexes of state fire and rescue units (299)

— 6416 - continuation of the possibility of participation of international organizations in the procurement of medicines for Ukraine (266)

— 7194 - procedure of search and nationalization of property of the aggressor's country (302)

— 7280 - determination of an exhaustive list of circumstances in which restrictions on the allowable value of gifts received and other requirements of anti-corruption legislation do not apply (269)

— 4284 - purification of Ukrainian legislation from terminology of USSR (293)

— 7301 - expulsion of Viktor Medvedchuk from the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories (295).

Zhelezniak also said that the deputies failed two laws because of populist slogans.

This are:

— 5388 - deregulation of labor relations, such as the procedure for concluding a fixed-term employment contract (187),

— 7191 - features of privatization of state property for relocated enterprises in martial law, to reduce the period from 100 to 25 days (193).
