The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov held talks with his colleagues from Norway, Portugal, Great Britain, and Israel.

They were discussing supporting Ukraine in an unjustified and unprovoked war unleashed by russia. He wrote about this on Facebook. "I was pleased to hold another meeting with our great friend, Secretary of State for Defense of the United Kingdom Ben Wallace. I am grateful for the constructive conversation and I very much appreciate the practical steps taken by the United Kingdom to strengthen the capacity and capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to effectively repel russia's insidious aggression against Ukraine", Reznikov said.

Reznikov discussed with his Israeli colleague Benny Ganz ‘the existential threats to Ukraine, the right to self-defense, and the importance of humanitarian aid provided by Israel".

Reznikov congratulated Norwegian Defense Minister Arilda Gram and Portuguese National Defense Minister Helena Carreiras on the occasion of their appointment.

The Minister also personally met with the Ambassador of Sweden to Ukraine Tobias Tiberg and the Deputy Director-General, Director of the Department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, former Ambassador, Andreas von Bekerat.

"We discussed Sweden's assistance to Ukraine and our Armed Forces bilaterally and in partnership with the EU. I thank each of our colleagues, friends, and partners for their solidarity with Ukraine, for their support, and for the fact that every meeting or telephone conversation always yields practical results", the Minister of Defense summarised.

Earlier, on 13 April Reznikov had a conversation with the Minister of Defense of France Florence Parly. Following the talks, Parly said that in response to new requests, France would provide Ukraine with additional military capabilities in addition to the already provided amount of 100 million euros - to get equipment.
