Russia continues to introduce new battalion tactical groups [BTG] on the territory of Ukraine, adding three more from yesterday. This was reported by CNN with reference to a senior Pentagon official.
According to him, the total number of russian BTGs in Ukraine has reached 85.
"Most of them, according to our estimates, are in the Donbass region," the official added.
According to the President of the USA, the russian offensive will be "more limited in terms of geography, but not in terms of cruelty".
US President Joe Biden announced on Thursday a new military aid package to Ukraine worth 800m. dollars, saying that it was "an unmistakable message to Putin: he will never be able to dominate and occupy the whole Ukraine."
